Directed by Yosep Anggi Noen, this film was adapted from a novel with the same title, published in 2017 by Sabda Armandio. This dystopian crime drama follows the story of Gaspar, a private detective who only has 24 hours to live. The cast includes top Indonesian stars such as Reza Rahadian, Laura Basuki, Shenina Cinnamon, and Kristo Immanuel.
“24 Jam Bersama Gaspar” received nine nominations at the 2023 Indonesian Film Festival, including Best Picture and Best Director. It also won the Citra Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. The film premiered globally at the 28th Busan International Film Festival, while also competing for the Kim Jiseok Award at the event.
