SEAToday.com, Bandung - Bandung has been named the best culinary city in Southeast Asia according to the TasteAtlas Award 2023/2024. Bandung scored 4.66, outperforming several other cities on the list, such as Bangkok in 18th place with a score of 4.60 and Singapore and Hue with a score of 4.56. Recommended Bandung foods and drinks include Batagor, Mi Kocok, Seblak, Kupat Tahu, Soto Bandung, Bajigur, and Bandrek.
In addition to Bandung, several other cities in Indonesia also made the list, including Jakarta, Surabaya, Padang, Malang, and Yogyakarta. In conducting the assessment, TasteAtlas combines the average ranking of the best local dishes in a particular city, the average ranking of national dishes, and the average Google ranking for the best traditional restaurants.
