SEAToday.com, Bandung - After being closed for four years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bosscha Observatory (@bosschaobservatory) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in West Java has reopened their night visits to the public.

Bosscha Observatory researcher Yatny Yulianti said that night visits will be opened with a quota of 100 people in one visit. The visit schedule is also only on certain dates from June to August, intended to maximize the chances of successful observation because it is currently the dry season.

During the night visit, visitors will be guided by staff to view celestial objects using telescopes. The session will start in the afternoon so that visitors can first adapt to the observatory environment.

Tickets for this night visit are priced at 50 thousand rupiahs per person, with registration opening at the beginning of each month on Monday. #SEAtizens, are you interested in coming?
