SEAToday.com, Seoul - TWICE girl group member Nayeon recently donated 30 million won or 354 million rupiah to support the surgical expenses of underprivileged patients at Dongkang Hospital in South Korea.
This is not the first time that Nayeon has donated to charity. Previously, she anonymously donated 20 million won or 236 million rupiah in 2022 to help fund the treatment cost for low-income patients at Dongkang Hospital.
In 2020, Nayeon also donated 50 million won or 591 million rupiah to support the fight against the Coronavirus, and in 2023, she along with other TWICE members donated 200 million won or 2.3 billion rupiah to help families affected by the earthquake in Türkiyeand Syria.
With her donation, Nayeon became the first honorary member of the Community Chest of Korea in 2024. Community Chest of Korea is a South Korean non-profit organization that focuses on community-based fundraising.
