Two Indonesian Students Win Gold at Thailand Inventors Day 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Two students from Trisakti University, Amrullah Gilang Ibrahim and Maria Stevanie Dwi Aprilli, won gold medals at the Thailand Inventors Day 2024 event held in Bangkok on February 1-7, 2024. They beat participants from 20 other countries by creating a technological innovation to help the fishing industry through "Integrated Smart System Feeding Fish based on Renewable Energy".

In their work, they created a fish feeding machine that uses IoT technology and has a power source from solar panels as renewable energy. The machine can be operated automatically or manually by fish farmers using a mobile phone from anywhere at any time.

Besides Amarullah and Maria, the delegation of Trisakti University led by Vice Rector III Yoska Oktaviano sent six teams to the event. All of them successfully brought home one gold medal, two silver medals, three bronze medals and one special prize from the Korea Invention Promotion Association, South Korea.
